Dise settings files

DiseContent

The DiseContent folder contains your Content, Library, Screen Definitions and similar files. By default the DiseContent folder is located in C:\DiseContent.

Dise 2010 general applications

Setting files for most Dise 2010 applications will be stored in the following folder: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Dise\Dise 2010\ (in Windows XP it is %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Dise\Dise 2010\)

General setting files are stored in the folder: %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Dise\Dise 2010\

Dise Bridge

Dise Bridge will automatically create a backup when you close the program. These files are be default stored in the folder %LOCALAPPDATA%\Dise\Dise 2010\Backup\, or you can change the backup directory to another location from Bridge Preferences backup directory setting.

Restore from an automatic backup

1. Close Dise Bridge.
2. Find file named Bridge<timestamp>.settings in the backup directory (see above)
3. Rename to Bridge.settings (ex. Bridge110324-172854.settings > Bridge.settings).
4. Replace the Bridge.settings file that you already have in the %LOCALAPPDATA%\Dise\Dise 2010\ directory.

Dise Parser

Settings files for the Dise Parser are located in the following folder: %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Dise\Dise Parser\

Other applications

Most other Dise applications will have a ApplicationName.settings file that contains all the settings required. With a backup of this file you should be able to restore operation within minutes.
