PDF Object

Overview

The PDF object, which is a preset Image Object, allows you to include a page from a PDF document in your Dise Movie.

PDF Addon

To display PDF documents, an licensed addon is needed. The PDF Addon needs to be installed and licensed on all PCs that will be displaying PDFs (both managers and players).

Installation

By default the PDF addon should be installed during the main Dise setup. To install the PDF addon seprately, run the Dise installer and select the Custom (Advanced) installation. Make sure at least the Addons > PDF Addon is selected.

Note: An installation will not overwrite any settings you have previously made.

Licensing

For access to a license key, please contact support. Run the License Viewer and click Add key. Enter the provided license key. Now the addon is licensed and ready for use.

Create a PDF object

In the Objects tab, double-click on the PDF icon or click it and draw where you want it on the edit area.

A dialog asking for the PDF document, what page to render and at what DPI is presented.You may later right-click the object and select Edit selected object to edit the specific settings for the image.
