System date from Internet Time Server

Dise 1.6 and later

Dise Probe have a built-in function for updating the local system time from a Internet time server.

Dise 1.5 and earlier

Windows XP/Vista has a Internet Time server interface that can be used to update the time of one PC from the Internet.

It is important to select a working time server and Windows XP/Vista provided servers might not be working all the time.

Windows XP

The configuration for this can be found in the "Date and Time Properties" on the tab "Internet Time".

Windows Vista

  • Go into the Control Panel and select Date & Time.
  • Select the tab Internet Time and click on Change settings
  • Put in your time server (separate multiple by a space) and click Update now

Windows Vista updates the time once a week by default.
